2011 was all about the dual core processors and we also got to experience amazing phones such as the Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx, Samsung Galaxy SII and the others are capable of. In 2012, chip makers will be offering quad core processors that supports mobile multitasking and it performance would be comparable to what a desktop computer could achieve a few years back. If the grapevine is to be believed, then Motorola is planning to launch its Tegra 3 devices in the second quarter. The new phones have been named Motorola Jet and Motorola Bullet. Motorola Bullet will have a quad three code Tegra 3 processor. Motorola Jet on the other hand will also feature a Tegra 3 processor and have an amazing QWERT keyboard, an NFC chip as well as a 12 MP camera.
HTC:
HTC plans to release its first quad core processor phone, HTC Edge in the market this year. This might be the first quad core processor Smartphone to become available to users in the market. This smartphone was first introduced in Taiwan a few months ago. Liquid is named Acer E320 Express shaped like Liquid Mini E310.
